2. What we collect

From the quote form and from email:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Postcode or area
• Service requested
• Your message
• Any file you upload, usually a photo of the hatch
• The page the form was sent from, recorded in a hidden field
• The referring URL, read from the request header

From a phone call: the number you are calling from, and the notes we need in order to quote. We do not collect payment card details through this website.

3. Why we use it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry details for third-party marketing.

4. Photos

Photographs of your hatch are used only to assess the job. We will not publish a photograph of your home on this website without asking you separately first.

5. Who sees the data

• Ketan Patel and any staff working on your enquiry
• The email routing and inbox services used to receive messages sent to our published address and to receive form notifications
• Our website hosting provider
• The transactional email provider used to deliver internal notifications when a form is submitted

Those notifications are internal. They are not a newsletter and you are not added to a mailing list. Form notifications carry your email address as the reply-to, so a reply goes directly to you. We do not share your data with advertisers, quote directories or lead-generation partners.

6. Cookies and scripts

This website sets no marketing or advertising cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party tracking scripts.

Spam protection on the enquiry form uses a hidden field that automated submissions tend to complete. It does not track you, does not profile you, and involves no third-party service. If analytics or any third-party protection service is added in future, this policy will be updated on the same day.

7. How long we keep it

• Unsuccessful enquiries: 12 months
• Accepted quotes and completed jobs: 6 years after the job, covering the guarantee period, tax records and the time limit for legal claims
• Photographs of a hatch: Kept for the same period as the enquiry or job they belong to

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict how we use it, to object to our using it, and to receive it in a portable form where that applies.

9. Children
